Coffee Corner in Bremen

It's a great place to people watch. But I can also do that from home.

Every time I looked forward to the delicious cake and coffee from Café Corner. After the lockdown I visited the store twice and was always annoyed by the staff. An employee is really rude. That's why I left today, even though I really wanted to. You have to be friendlier to customers, actually to people in general, I think.

Great location, unfortunately very rude staff and the café has not yet arrived in the 21st century ... You can neither pay with a card, nor are there proper sockets or WiFi.

Delicious bagels and great pastries, cozy shop.

Super tasty bagels and the hot chocolate was very good too. Despite our group of seven, we didn't have to wait long. I would love to come back. 😊

Even with an exemption from the mask requirement, you will not be served here. I had to pull up my t-shirt and almost passed out. My child liked the vegan banana cake, that's why it got 2 stars and because the service was friendly. They "pressed" the freshly squeezed apple juice in a hexel machine therefore not to be recommended, especially since the waitress did not even bother to remove the sticker on the apples, so I strongly assume that they were not even washed. The cappuccino with soy milk that I had was not really intoxicating, found it too bitter.

Many vegan offers, but nothing to read or play for children

Nowhere in Bremen can you sit and "look" better.

Quite expensive for the fact that the café comes out of the machine and tastes about the same as in the gas station. There is much better coffee nearby for less money!

Disproportionate coffee prices (small cappuccino with soy milk € 3.70) !!!! Taste only average, for the price you expect more! Cool in the past, only expensive today! There are definitely much better cafes out there!

Best bagels and best coffee on the corner! It couldn't be better!

Great place to have a coffee and relax. The selection of drinks and snacks offers something for everyone. I think it's a shame that you can't pay with a card here.

Worst coffee in Bremen, choleric owner who has no shame to roar in front of guests and incompetent staff who have no idea about coffee. Almost all products are frozen and the prices are utopian for the poor quality & service. 1 star is still too much.

Worst coffee with a nice setting. Ordered a coffee with soy milk and they poured it in as it was water. The taste is not worth the 4€ price for a cappuccino.

Has a nice view but for a place called "Coffee Corner" the coffee itself is really awful. Just few streets down there is Harbour Coffee with 10x better coffee.

Perfect to have a nice view around, also the cookies are really good and i love the fresh peppermint tea.

Delicious food and a view of a busy street, here you can forget the time. The service was quick and good, but not always friendly in the stressful Advent. Understandable, but therefore only 4 stars.

The coffee was incredibly bad. Bitter and far too strong. The whole shop smells of fat, a station hall is quietly against it. There was a lamp in the men's room, but whether it was switched on or not, there was no light. Bet 6!

Upon arrival we were received by a terribly unkind lady with short hair. They went at 10.00 hour. (it was 9.50) and the site and tripadvisor state otherwise. we wanted to wait nicely, but were furious and screaming to go outside to wait. While a gentleman got coffee for us and clearly was not a staff. YES, if you chase away customers. Go to pianos, much nicer place instead of that fake hipster stuff ...

Today we went for breakfast to the coffee corner. On the site was told: open on 07.30 but the opentime can change because of it is the day before christmas. We went inside about 9.50 and before we can look to the menu a angry woman came from the back and screemed: we open at 10.00! Because it was only 10 minutes, we decided to wait. But the lady was in so bad mood: she screemd wait outside! We where flabbercasted and on top of that there was a man before us who just got his coffee. Don’t go to the coffee corner. Aspecially where there is a angry lady with short painted hair!! Go to piano’s: much better!!

I went here because the ratings were good. The cake was very nice but the coffee was just the worst. It was too hot, burned and the milk was just all foam. The taste was awfull, I would NOT recommend it.

Tasty cake and drinks, however it can be a bit noisy.

This place looks incredibly cool and the sandwiches look great (if I could eat gluten). However, the coffee was not good at all. We expected much more from previous reviews. They don’t have any gluten free food nor do they offer dairy free milks. For an alternative area and coffee shop n 2018, this is very disappointing. The only reason I gave three stars is that the service was friendly and the green smoothie was delicious.

Long time visitor of this café here. The location is superb in my opinion. Many seating options where one can look out towards a busy intersection in the Viertel. The coffee options are decent, nothing spectacular here. It can get quite noisy inside as well depending on your luck. Unfortunately, there have been more than one occasion where service was subpar. An example being my order being forgotten. Because they don't give receipts, I was accussed of not paying and trying to sneak my way to a free cup of coffee. The issue was resolved when the cashier who took my order was referred to. However, the ego of the staff was much to big for their own good and my coffee was slammed on the counter rudely, spoon falling out and foam flowing over. Disregarding the bad service and assuming it to be isolated events, Coffee Corner can serve as a venue for an enjoyable afternoon coffee break sometimes.

Nice athmosphere, good wifi, decent lunches but absolutely horrible coffee, if I’m completely honest... If you know your coffee, try Soul Vegan down the road instead!

They serve not many dishes, but fast breakfast with a coffee is OK.

Dissapointed with the unfriendly crew and dry pancakes.. And who doesn't accept credit card and/or apple pay anymore?

There were a lot of flies, the staff kept clearing the table while we were still eating, it's too expensive for the quality.
